TriVita Features Beckie
My friend and Charlotte, North Carolina TriVita Affilitate Team Member, Beckie Saupe, is on the cover of TriVita's March 2010 VitaJournal because she is an excellent example of someone who is young, vibrant, in great shape ... but can fall victim to inflammation just like anyone else. You don't have to be in poor health, or be getting "old", or sedentary in nature to have health issues. Inflammation attacks each and every one of us, through the air we breathe, the foods we eat, our water supply, and our environment in general. None of us are immune to inflammation and how it can rob us of our quality of life. Inflammation leads to illness, disease, premature aging and a myriad of health issues. It is up to us to arm ourselves and our bodies from all of the harmful elements that can cause inflammation and Nopalea is the best product I have ever witnessed that can do just that.

Beckie came into my life in a way that some people might describe as an "accident" but I do not believe in such things. Beckie had made contact with me on a social networking site because she saw that I am seriously interested in wellness, and so is she. Beckie is a personal trainer and her passion is to help everyone be the best they can possibly be. One thing led to another and we discovered that we are related a couple generations back, and we loved that we were connecting, not only in wellness, but as family. Beckie decided to attend our weekly wellness luncheons in Charlotte and once she saw what we were accomplishing through TriVita products, she wanted to become a part of it. Beckie tries to "lead by example" by taking good care of herself, eating right and exercising to stay in shape. However, in spite of Beckie's excellent habits, she, like many others, suffered from inflammation, which affected her enjoyment of life. She says, "Unfortunately, inflammation does not care who you are, or what you do!" Her recent health problem started small but quickly became much bigger until it could no longer be ignored. "I recently woke up with a swollen toe (gout)", she recalls. "It was so inflamed and sore that I could barely walk, let alone exercise."
